Prayer meeting for Aikman

Today, Wednesday, June 8th, at 5:15 PM we will meet in the fellowship hall of the First Presbyterian Church to have a time of prayer for Aikman Smith. Aikman is the grandson of Diane Colston. Aikman just turned 3 years old and has been diagnosed with an invasive form of E. Coli. which is now caused Hemolytic Uremic Syndrome (HUS). He is in Children's Hospital in Dallas.

Church Activities

Sunday School
We have classes for all ages including 3 adult classes at 9:45.

Elementary After School Program
During the school year we have an elementary after school program that meets on Tuesdays from 3:30 to 5:00. We pick children up at Junction Elementary School

Middle School and High School
Meet Wednesday evenings from 5:30-7:30 for food, fellowship and fun

Presbyterian Women
Our Presbyterian Women have circle meetings at 9:45 on the second Tuesday of each month September through May.

Men’s Breakfast
Men of the church meet the first Saturday of each month for food, fellowship, prayer and devotion. Breakfast starts at 8:00.

Fellowship Groups
Various times throughout the year we have groups meeting for Bible study, prayer, picnics, meals, games and other fellowship activities.

Chancel Choir
Our Chancel Choir meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 for practice.

Bell Choir
The bell ringers play for special occasions throughout the year.

Community Involvement
We are actively involved in the Junction Ministerial Alliance and participate in the Lenten Luncheons, Community Hymn Sing, Community Thanksgiving Service, the Easter Cantata, and the Christmas Cantata.
