Scripture for Sunday (5/22/2022)

This Sunday, May 22nd we will recognize our graduates Risa Cantu, Bronc Kothmann, and Emma Leistkow. We will celebrate their accomplishments and let them know how proud we are of them at a luncheon after church. Lunch will be potluck; please bring a main dish, salad or dessert to share.

Scripture for Sunday
Acts 2:42-47

42 And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers. 43 And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. 44 And all who believed were together and had all things in common. 45 And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. 46 And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, 47 praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.

Church Activities

Sunday School
We have classes for all ages including 3 adult classes at 9:45.

Elementary After School Program
During the school year we have an elementary after school program that meets on Tuesdays from 3:30 to 5:00. We pick children up at Junction Elementary School

Middle School and High School
Meet Wednesday evenings from 5:30-7:30 for food, fellowship and fun

Presbyterian Women
Our Presbyterian Women have circle meetings at 9:45 on the second Tuesday of each month September through May.

Men’s Breakfast
Men of the church meet the first Saturday of each month for food, fellowship, prayer and devotion. Breakfast starts at 8:00.

Fellowship Groups
Various times throughout the year we have groups meeting for Bible study, prayer, picnics, meals, games and other fellowship activities.

Chancel Choir
Our Chancel Choir meets on Wednesday evenings at 7:00 for practice.

Bell Choir
The bell ringers play for special occasions throughout the year.

Community Involvement
We are actively involved in the Junction Ministerial Alliance and participate in the Lenten Luncheons, Community Hymn Sing, Community Thanksgiving Service, the Easter Cantata, and the Christmas Cantata.
